Love Quotes Competition

Posted By claire on January 11, 2010

Last week, I told you all about Robin Maxwell’s “O, JULIET Love Games Challege”, a series of giveaways to celebrate the launch of her new book, “O, JULIET” in just a few weeks.

This week’s competition is all about love quotations. Robin’s favourites are:-

“Sex without love is an empty experience, but, as empty experiences go, it’s one of the best.” — Woody Allen

“‘Tis better to have loved and lost
Than never to have loved at all.” — Alfred Tennyson

And one of my favourite’s is:-

“Love is like the measles; we all have to go through it.” — Jerome K Jerome

What’s your favourite? Well, you can tell me in a comment below, but why not enter Robin Maxwell’s competition to win a beautiful handblown glass heart necklace (see picture)?

All you have to do is go to and leave your favourite love quotation in the comment section below Robin’s post entitled “Words of Love Challenge”, along with your email address. You’ll have two weeks to play this so you’ve got plenty of time to search for a good quote, just make sure it’s not the same as someone else’s.

This is not really a quote but something said by a distant relative of mine: If you would rather have a cup of hot tea and a chocolate biscuit than make love to your spouse/boyfriend, then you better think twice about your relationship!

  2. Stacy says:

“we loved with a love that was more than a love” -poe of course ūüôā
