Just a quick post to alert you to the launch of two new tours for 2011:-

  • The Executed Queens Tour 2011 – Learn about Elizabeth I’s mother, Anne Boleyn; Elizabeth’s nemesis, Mary Queen of Scots; and also Catherine Howard and Lady Jane Grey. Guest speakers are Leanda de Lisle, John Guy and Eric Ives and we’ll be staying at Bosworth Hall Hotel, a 17th century mansion, and Hever Castle. Day trips include Sheffield Manor Lodge, Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre, the ruins of Bradgate House, the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace and Hever Castle.
  • The Anne Boleyn Experience 2011 – A tour focused on Anne Boleyn, mother of Elizabeth I, and the catalyst of the English Reformation. Eric Ives will be speaking on Anne Boleyn and we will also have a talk by Tudor costumer, Bess Chilver. There will be day trips to the Tower of London and Hampton Court Palace and we will have plenty of opportunity to enjoy Hever Castle and its gardens.

I know they’re over a year away but I just can’t wait! Find out more details at our special tour site – http://tour.theanneboleynfiles.com/
