Who do you think did the best job of portraying Elizabeth on film? I just finished watching Glenda Jackson in “Elizabeth R” for the second time, and I think Glenda was spot on in her portrayal of Elizabeth-simply the best!

I love Glenda Jackson, but I also love Helen Mirren as Elizabeth and Jeremy Irons as Dudley in "Elizabeth I" which is a brilliant series.

  3. Mauro Garofolo says:

    They were all wonderful and worth mention them;
    Glenda Jackson, Cate Blanchett, Helen Mirren and Anne Marie Duff.
    Among them is difficult to choose the best because I am great actress, and each gave body and soul to the character. And this is the miracle, the plaintiffs, although all were incredibly authoritarian and gifts, were able to see each one a different humanity, but at the same time unique and equally credible Queen Elizabeth.
