Elizabeth I – An Icon
In September 2009, we ran a competition to celebrate the launch of The Elizabeth Files. Entrants had to write an article explaining why Elizabeth interests/fascinates them or why she is such an iconic monarch. We had 7 wonderful entries and here they are for you to enjoy (in no particular order):-
- Good Queen Bess by Tracey Saxon – The winner
- Elizabeth I: An Iconic Figure and Wonderful Queen by Jennifer Schuh – Second Place
- Elizabeth Tudor by “Sentimentalist”
- The Legacy of Elizabeth I by Kimberly Eve
- Elizabeth Tudor: Queen, Mother and Wife of England by Jessica Creton from France
- Elizabeth – A Tudor Rose by Any Other Name by Sarah Rochel
- Elizabeth I by Carla

Really good articles indeed (of course I don’t talk of mine lol) I like the different ways to write. Good works
Yours was great too, Jessica!
